WESTWIND SUMMER DAY CAMP 2012
June 18-22 and July 16-20
Campers, in addition to personalized riding instruction, will learn the basics of horsemanship and horse care in a safe, fun, and controlled atmosphere. Campers are divided into smaller groups based on the level of their riding abilities. Riding instruction is given twice a day, weather permitting. When not mounted or involved in horse care, the campers participate in arts and crafts, games, and are also taught theory by our experienced camp counselors.
Session 1 campers will have the opportunity to show in our East Tennessee Hunter Jumper Member Horse Show on Saturday, June 25. The Session 2 campers may participate in the Thursday night campover
Westwind has safe, experienced, lesson horses and ponies that are used in our camp program. Outside horses and ponies that are owned by campers, may be brought to Westwind to board for the week, if approved in advance by our trainer.
Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm
Bring a box lunch, snack and lots to drink (bottled water is always available).
Cost: $355.00 per session. Discount of $20 per session offered for mutiple children or if both camps are attended.
