FACILITIES


 Nestled on 38 gently rolling acres, our main barn is a 16 stall  Morton, that  was completed in 2004. Some amenities include 12 X 12 matted stalls, 2 indoor grooming and 2 indoor wash bays with hot and cold water, a large "L" shaped tackroom with laundry facilities for client use. Our spacious heated and air conditioned lounge, is equipped with a full kitchen, and opens out onto a stamped concrete porch with rocking chairs that overlooks the entire farm.  We have a sand and limestone  competition arena (180 X 220)  equipped with a watering system that was installed in the spring of 2009 and also full sets of both hunter and jumper jumps. Located within the main barn is an apartment that is home to our assistant barn manager, Pam,  who has been with Westwind for 3 years.  Pam also provides evening horse watch, special care and security.


In 2005, we added a 10 stall barn adjacent to the arena for visiting horses during shows, special events, and layovers. This year we began adding natural jumps around the farm such as hedges and coups.  Also, we have planted a beautiful Bald Cypress tree in the middle of our arena not only for shade but also as a reminder of how the old hunter arenas used to be.
